라이트의 10개 건물 세계문화유산 등록 진행

UNESCO는 프랭크 로이드 라이트의 10개 건물을 세계 문화 유산으로 지정이 진행되고 있다. 이는 ‘Key Works of Modern Architecture by Frank Lloyd Wright’의 캠페인을 통해 미국 자체에서 추진되고 있으며, 이를 UNESCO에 등록을 추진을 하고 있다. 만약 승인이 될 경우 1,007개 세계문화유산과 함께하게 되며, 문화적 영향력과 특출한 가치를 지닌 건물로 인정받는 것이다.

이들 건물들은 1. Unity Temple; Oak Park, Illinois, 2. Frederick C. Robie House; Chicago, Illinois, 3. Taliesin; Spring Green, Wisconsin, 4. Hollyhock House; Los Angeles, California, 5. Fallingwater; Mill Run, Pennsylvania, 6. Herbert and Katherine Jacobs House; Madison, Wisconsin, 7. Taliesin West; Scottsdale, Arizona, 8. Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum; New York City, New York, 9. Price Tower; Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 10. Marin County Civic Center; San Rafael, California이다.
